We've seen a lot of wildlife from our campsite here, but this is a first for me

This bull snake (upper left) slithered right by our firepit
It went under the cabin. Julie took the picture to a naturalist who explained that a bull snake mimics rattlesnakes but is not venomous.  They are the longest snake in SD.  They will get up to 6 ft long.  This one was a good 5 to 5.5 ft long.
